CREMAINS
Wearing cremains in jewelry has been around for a very long time. It's only been in the last decade that it has become popular in resin settings. Cremains can be preserved and molded into settings to create pieces that look like art or beach settings. They can be tinted to various shades. The can also be molded into stones and placed into pronged settings. This process allows you to have them with you, and be the only one to know what they are. It helps avoid the possibly uncomfortable conversation about wearing cremains.

The options are nearly limitless including how much of the cremains you wish to actually see. They can be left completely visible, made semi-transparent, or hidden completely in a lower layer and covered in a variety of ways.

Some people wonder how much of the cremains are wasted during processing. The short answer is that we waste nothing. All of the cremains you send will be returned to you either loose in a small container, or in the piece(s) you ordered.
A word of advice - Some people are not supportive of cremation jewelry even among members of the same family. While cremains are not technically property, ownership of the cremains is usually granted to the named executor, or if none has been named, the next of kin. It never hurts to seek legal advice if you feel there may be a question whether you have the right to commission Lovesake to create jewelry with the cremains you send. By doing so, you accept the responsibility as the assumed owner and we assume that you are the legal representative able to make that decision.
RULE #1 - NEVER SEND ALL OF THE CREMAINS.
ITEMS DO GET LOST AND/OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING.
